April 18th Wednesday Evenings 6:30-9:30pm Working from a live clothed model, you will learn about how to start your painting, see and record shapes clearly and simply, and model form by carefully observing the properties of light. Noah will teach the use of plumb lines, comparative measurement, and tilt angle to find correct proportions. Cost $250 includes model fees

Landscape Painting Workshop September 12th -16th 2011.

Design Studio and B&B on Quadra Island BC In this workshop the focus will be on direct observation and
study of the beauty of nature. Noah will introduce the idea of
using pencil field studies and plein air colour studies to be used at a
later date to make a lager finished landscape painting in your studio.
Noah will draw on his time as a Hudson
