Below are the three paintings that are in the show. I'm doing a free oil portrait painting demo at the art store Opus this Saturday 1-2:30pm. 512 Herald St. If you are in the area come by and watch!  I'm going to be at the Art Gallery of Victoria's Moss Street Paint-in again this year.  The Paint-in is Saturday, July 16th from 11am to 4:30pm. My spot this year is right across from the Art Gallery between Purcell and Rockland. If you're in the area please drop by and say hey. With 30,000+ people attending the event it's always a great day with lots of fun things happening! I plan or doing some sort of demo at some point during the afternoon.  I'm doing a free drawing demo at the art store Opus in Victoria this coming Sunday, January 23rd, 2-3:30pm.  New drawing class starting in February. I'm very honored to win an honorable mention for my painting "Spilling Citrus" in the Artist's Magazines Annual Art Competition! My painting "Self-Portrait 08" has been chosen as a finalist in the Kingston Prize for Canadian Portraiture.

Life/Floral category of The Artist's Magazine 26th Annual Art
Competition.
My painting "Three's a Crowd" has been accepted into the Oil
Painters of America, 2009 Western Regional Exhibition.
I've been given a fellowship to take part in the Hudson
River Fellowship in Hunter, New York from July 6th to August
2nd. The Hudson River Fellowship was founded by Jacob
Collins, one of the most respected academic teachers teaching in North
America today. I'm looking forward to a month of painting along
side my fellow artists as we paint the landscape around the Catskill
Mountains as well as visiting New York City and connecting with other
artists and galleries! I've uploaded a demo of this recent painting that you might
